You can access Sunday services online, led by our local Baptist Association. These are uploaded every Sunday at 10.30am and can be accessed by the North West Baptist Association’s ‘Gathering for Worship’ link on http://www.faithspace.org.uk/servicestream.php

We have set up an affordable food pantry in the church building, called ‘The Little Shop at Latchford’, to help our neighbours who are struggling with the cost of living. We will open for the first time on Tuesday 16th April from 16:30 to 19:30. From then we will open every Tuesday from 16:30 to 19:30 and every Thursday from 10:00 to 16:00 (closed Thursday 2nd May for local elections). Come and see what we have to offer!

At times of national loss and grief, Psalm 23 in the Bible has brought comfort to many.
The following prayer is a blessing based on the image of God being our shepherd.

When the shadow of death looms large and unmoving,
darkening all life and dulling all brightness,
may you know your journey beneath it is not alone.
May you sense you being are accompanied, guided and steadied;
that how ever hard it may seem to put one foot in front of another,
or however great your fear of stumbling,
there is One alongside you who will not let you fall
but will comfort and guard you and bring you safe home.

A Prayer for the World

God, we ask for your help
in this difficult time.
May the suffering know your presence,
the sick your healing,
the bereaved your comfort,
the anxious your peace
the confused your guidance and
the despairing your hope.

Thank you for your promise
to always be with us.
Give us eyes to see your actions
ears to hear your voice
and hearts open wide to
receive your love
and share it with others.

Latchford Baptist Church

Latchford Baptist Church is situated in the village of Latchford in Warrington.

Our services, on Sunday mornings at 10.45 are relaxed and relatively informal, with a mixture of singing, scripture reading, a sermon or reflection and news sharing. If you come along you will be given a warm welcome. Our services last for around 70-80 minutes and are followed by our usual tea and coffee time.

Renew with a Brew is a free weekly wellbeing café for all adults hosted by Latchford Baptist Church every Tuesday morning. See our ‘Renew with a Brew’ page for more details.

Latchford Baptist Church is situated on Loushers Lane, just opposite the Warrington Football Club, we are easy to find and there is ample on-street parking.
