Prayer Meeting

We gather together to pray because we believe that prayer changes things and prayer changes us for the better by bringing us closer to God. We pray about what’s happening in the world, issues in our local community, the needs of people we know and our own personal challenges. We ask God to be at work where there is pain and suffering, to bring peace where there is conflict and change where there is injustice.

We thank God for the many good things that he gives to us and pray for his presence, his help, his guidance, his comfort and his healing.

We generally sit in a circle and some are led to pray out loud whilst others prefer to sit quietly and pray in silence. Either way God hears us.

The times during the week when we gather to pray are:

  • Sunday morning at 10.15 am every week in the meeting room (except for those weekends when we don’t meet on Sunday, but have Table Talk on the following Monday instead. See Our Services page for dates coming up)

Our Services
