Latchford Baptist Church was established on 4th February 1851.  It was known as ‘Bethel Baptist Church’, and the building we use today was opened in March 1861.
During the 1930’s a council housing estate was developed in the immediate vicinity of the Church, and if a Baptist Church had a ‘parish’, then the church would regard these 500 houses as a large part of it
