Rev Carolyn Urwin – Minister
Carolyn began her ministry here in August 2019. She leads the church and takes about half of the services. She is responsible for helping the church know Jesus more and share his love with our local community. She is married to Robin and has three grown up children. She enjoys, amongst other things, walking and killer sudokus.
Phil Wilkinson – Treasurer
Phil is one of the busiest people on a Sunday morning, dealing with all of the different money aspects of the church. He also helps out with any maintenance tasks in the church building and is always around church to lend a hand, apart from when he can manage to get away on the golf course!! He and Sue (his wife) have two children living in Canada and fortunately for them the grandchildren have taught them how to skype.
Malcolm Hulse – Discipleship
Malcolm helps the church run smoothly in many different ways, including the discipleship of the church.
He is married to Gill and they have two grown up children, two grandchildren and a mad dog called Benji.
Tina Critchley – Deacon, Assistant Treasurer
Tina is an experienced member of the Diaconate having previously served numerous terms in the service of the Church. She is a busy member of the church as she also serves as Assistant Treasurer, is part of the AV team and is responsible for arranging the visiting preachers. Tina is always keen and eager to help anyone and anywhere she can. Outside of Church, Tina enjoys visiting garden centres, going on days out [especially Llandudno!] She also enjoys travelling and going on holiday visiting new places. She has recently retired and is thoroughly enjoying this new chapter.
Gwen Taylor – Designated Person Safeguarding
Sue Wilkinson – Deacon, Pastoral
Chris Ablott – Deacon, Health & Safety
Chris is now retired, having worked in the nuclear power industry. He is responsible for the church’s health and safety, which was a challenging role during the pandemic! He is also one of the team of hosts for our weekly free wellbeing café – Renew with a Brew.
Outside of church Chris enjoys gardening, spending time with his three grandchildren, and tracing his family tree (no royalty so far, but lots of coalminers). He is also a long-standing season ticket holder with Warrington Wolves.
