Rev Carolyn Urwin- Minister
Will commence her pastorate on August 1 2019
Phil Wilkinson – Treasurer
Phil is one of the busiest people on a Sunday morning, dealing with all of the different money aspects of the church. He also helps out with any maintenance tasks in the church building and is always around church to lend a hand, apart from when he can manage to get away on the golf course!! He and Sue (his wife) host a housegroup and they have two children living in Canada and fortunately for them the grandchildren have taught them how to skype.
Sue Wilkinson – Church Deacon
Sue’s role in church life involves her being responsible for all of the different groups that are part of church life. She runs the successful Mosaic group, who meet every Tuesday at 2pm. She also runs a number of successful social evenings. For example trips to the theatre and walks out and about in Cheshire, along with a rich variety of concerts. She, like her husband Phil really look forward to trips to Canada to see her children and grandchildren.
Malcolm Hulse – Church Secretary and Discipleship
Malcolm’s role relates to the discipleship of the church. He is responsible for the four different housegroups that the church runs, and runs one of these himself. He is currently planning the next church weekend away. He is married to Gill and they have two grown up children, two grandchildren and a mad dog called Benji.
Arthur Wiles – Life Deacon
Arthur is the elder statesman within the church, who has done in some capacity or other the above roles. He is the person who will greet you at the door on a Sunday morning and knows more about the history of the church than most. He has three children and two grandchildren. He is passionate about God and Jesus, all matters to do with trains and trams and Widnes Vikings.
